The Egyptian Meteorological Authority revealed the forecast weather for Wednesday, February 1st.
According to the authority, cold weather prevails early in the morning
It is cold during the day in the governorates of Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt
the northern coasts and northern Upper Egypt,
It tends to be warm in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.
Cold weather prevails at night in the north of the country up to Greater Cairo.
Very cold in the south of the country.
The weather is witnessing a disturbance in the maritime navigation in the Mediterranean.
The wind speed is from 60 to 70 km/h
And the height of the waves ranges from 3 to 5 meters.
The weather also witnesses the formation of snow on the top of Mount Moses and St. Catherine.
The authority stated that the weather is witnessing moderate rain
It may be thundery at times on areas of the northern coasts and north of Lower Egypt
At intermittent periods, it may be heavy sometimes accompanied by snow grains
On areas of Alexandria, Beheira, Kafr El-Sheikh, Damietta and Port Said.
The weather also witnesses chances of light rain, which may be moderate at times
An incidence rate of 30 to 40% in areas of southern Lower Egypt
And the cities of the canal and central Sinai, extending in the evening to areas of Greater Cairo
The incidence rate is approximately 30% intermittently.
The weather is witnessing wind activity in areas of Greater Cairo
Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, and South Sinai.
It may be sandy and dusty in areas of northern Upper Egypt
North Sinai and North Red Sea Governorate, intermittently.
